The good, the bad, and the better

So, Sunday evening me and Dylan left out to go to Beavers Bend. His grandparents rented a cabin for two nights for Dylan's family, his cousins and aunt from Florida, and me. It was too short of a trip definitely but it was a lot of fun and very relaxing! You can see the pictures of the beautiful cabin here. Me and Dylan left out pretty early this morning because I had to work from 2-10.

We came home and mom took us out to eat lunch at La Parilla's. Dylan left shortly after because his whole family was on the way to his house and me and mom were going to spend some time together before she leaves me for the Bahama's :( ! I got ready for work and left at 1:45 and was expecting to work until 10 tonight. We I go get ready to get started I check the schedule to see that for some reason my name is not on it. They asked me if I wanted to leave or if the wanted to make one of the other girls leave and I assured them that meant I was leaving and I hurried my happy self out of there.

Apparently I hurried out of there too fast because I didn't see the pole behind me and smashed right into it before I even knew what had happened. I immediately felt sick. I came home and knew I had to find mom and tell her what I did. I found her working out in the garage and I told her "Come here....you are going to kill me!" She looked at it and I know for a few seconds she was pretty pissed about it. She then got really quite and busted out laughing saying "Good job, dumbass!" I can handle that, I was really concerned she was going to kill me. :) She then told me I would have to call my daddy (Paul) and tell him what I did. I told her no way he would just have to see it when he gets home! I will add that I have now had my license for three years and I have never once gotten a ticket (knock on wood) and now this is my first "wreck" I have ever been in. Not that it makes it any better, but I feel pretty accomplished for lasting this long. :) I still don't like it though! :(

Me and Kitty took a two and a half hour nap and was asleep when daddy got home. Thank goodness! We were both scared! :) Luckily, if he was mad he didn't show it and assured me that we would take care of it! THANK GOODNESS! :) Mom and Paul hugged us goodbye and we watched them load up the car and drive away... then the fun was on! :) Mom doesn't let Kitty get away with much so I promised her that we would have tons of fun while they were away. This included more naps and laying together in the recliner watching a movie about gymnastics. It has been a true girls night. Then I decided to take a bath and she didn't want to be in the living room all alone so she came back to the bathroom with me.

She insisted on sitting on the counter and playing while I took my bath!

Deciding that a bath looks kind of fun and thinking she might want to try it!

Getting a little braver and deciding that she wanted to try out the water!

Deciding the water looked pretty yummy!

The scratch to prove that after falling in and clinging on to me for dear life she ultimately decided that baths are no fun and she wanted no part of them.

A little video I took of her playing

Now that we have had our bath we are laying in the recliner again watching Bridesmaids and I think she has fallen asleep on me again. We are already ready for mom and dad to get back from their trip and they haven't even really left yet. Oh well, I am sure we will find pretty of trouble to get into while they are gone! :)
