Done!

I am now officially done with my CNA class and clinicals. It feels good even though I am not really officially certified yet. That comes August 26th. I know the picture is huge but it is my certificate of successful completion of 80 hours of the nurse aide course! Woo Hoo!

My last day unfortunately was the worst of the three days for many reasons. I did one thing the entire time I was there because we had 11 of our students, plus all of the staff already on hand, and all of the nursing students from PJC there today so there was really no room for us all to do something. I did have to do peri care on a male today though. There is not much that I am allowed to say about that God awful experience, but I will say that it was not my favorite. As you can probably imagine.

Well, the first two weeks of class consisted of all book work and practice on our female mannequin. Today I finally got a picture of "Mrs. Sally" She has been through it all with us.

I am updating my blog really early tonight because I am hoping to be asleep asap. It is going to be so nice tomorrow not having to get up at 3:30, 4:30 or even 5:30! I cannot wait!
