Trinity Mission

Well it has been a great week and it is only Tuesday! Yesterday I called one of the nursing homes that I applied at and was told that I could not work there until I was officially certified. I was really bummed because out of the two here in Winnsboro this one seemed like the better to work at. However, the lady I had been speaking with was not the nicest, but I still wanted to work there. Anyways, I called the next nursing home and I get the lady on the phone and she starts making little excuses about being out of the office and on and on about not having time for this or that so of course I figured it was another no but then she perks up and says, "Wait, don't go anywhere else because I am going to hire you!" I immediately smile and we both share a little laugh... I guess she realized she was sending the wrong message. She then proceeds to say that she has just not had time to submit my background check so "as long as you didn't kill anybody or something freaky like that, then I am going to hire you." So, I guess it isn't completely official yet that I got the job, although needless to say I will pass my back ground check with flying colors and I think she knows that too because she already told me to be up there at 9:30 Thursday for orientation! Yay! I am so excited. At first this place was my last option just because I was basing it completely on looks, but now I couldn't be happier that this is the place I will call my job. The D.O.N. is so nice and I have heard nothing but good things about her. Mom even said that the place is saving up their money to completely renovate the place all at once instead of half way doing a little here and there. It really seems like it is going to be a great place to work. Come on Thursday!

Well, I don't know about you but I am sick of this heat. Yesterday I mowed for 4 hours and that isn't even including the weed-eating that I have yet to do, and today I cleaned my car inside and out for about an hour. It was terrible! I never let it get that bad! I had to get it nice and clean because me and a friend are going to mesquite tomorrow to Garden Ridge to get me new scrubs! They have the cheapest scrubs and tons to choose from. So Nanny, I will probably end up coming by tomorrow evening to have you cut off some of my scrub pants that are WAYYYY too long. I hope you aren't busy! :)
