Feels Good

So, at school every Tuesday I am a part of a group called Wesley Fellowship. It is a group of nearby churches that come every Tuesday and provide us a free meal and a short bible study lesson. Well, a few weeks back I talked to the main lady about the "Trimming Tripp's Tree" fundraiser for Tripp Roth. You can read more about it here. The lady told me that she would think of something to get for us all to send him one. Today when I got there she had the cutest little ornament and light shapes cut from card stock with a cute ribbon tied on top of them and we could each write a verse, our name, or anything on them! I was so excited! Who cares that they are homemade, I am just so excited that I got to help spread the word. She even did something that she had never done before... she got a huge projector and pulled up Tripp's blog and shared his story with everyone there. She even related all of today's service back to Tripp. It was so awesome and sweet and I could not tell her Thank-you enough. She went out of her way to not only learn about Tripp and his condition, but to also spend her own time and money just to find a way to make his Christmas just a little bit better. In case you haven't been keeping up with all of the ornaments he has received you really need to. They have three trees now just to make all of the ornaments fit and more are still coming in everyday. It makes me feel good that I not only got to send one, but I also encouraged others to learn about Tripp and his condition and participate in Trimming Tripp's Tree. If you haven't sent your ornament yet it is not too late. Please do!

Mom, Paul, Dylan, and I sent the four white angel's and the big LSU snowflake!
