I know- it has been entirely too long since my last update. No, it is not because I am too busy. Unfortunately I lost my job for the entire month of January. Pray everything goes back to normal once February gets here. I start back to school on Tuesday. Wahh :( I told mom I understand now why people drop out of college- it felt so good to be out for the past month. Not going to happen to me so no worries!
Well, my main reason for updating is because of Tripp. If any of you have kept up with his story, you need to read the new post Here. My heart breaks for a family that I have never met and for two people that I do not know. Tripp went to be with Jesus this weekend. I am crying now even as I update you. It completely breaks my heart. It is so hard to want him to be better and be in a better place, but to have that it means for him to leave us and to live as an Angel next to Christ himself. It is such a bittersweet feeling. I know it is what is best for him and his amazing mother Courtney- I just wish he could have gotten better and gotten to live with us and healthy- for a little while longer. He was exactly 2 years and 8 months old on the day he passed. Such a young baby. Sweet sweet baby. Courtney (his moms blog) has over 700 comments on her new post informing us of the bad news. That is amazing. She has been asking for us to all pray for peace and I know I have been praying harder than ever before for this suffering boy and it looks like 700 others were too. God answers prayers. God has a plan for everything and because of the cross this boy was chosen to wear, 700+ people's lives have been changed and made better. He has brought families closer, he has brought people to learn about Christ due to his mothers unfailing faith, and he has made many of us better people just because of the fact that he lived.
R.I.P. Little Drummer Boy
A boy whom I never met
but has changed my life forever.
