Funny Story

Okay so I can't remember if I have mentioned this before, but my A&P Lab teacher is from Peru. She isn't just someone who was born there and moved to America shortly after... she spent 30+ years there and so she obviously has a serious thick Spanish accent. She has a severely hard time speaking English and everything she says sounds more like Spanish than she does English. For the most part, we all have to guess what she is saying and learn the material on our own. Not too bad right? ;) Well, I get out of that class at 10:50 and today at 9:45 she starts panicking and rushing us through all of our material over the brain and spinal cord. We didn't really think anything of it because of course we could barely understand her. Well, when 9:50 rolls around she says "my goodness! it is already time to go!" We all understood that loud and clear. My entire class looks at the clock and then looks at each other because we all realize the mistake she is making. However, we were not entirely concerned about the mistake because we were all dying to get out of there. So she hurriedly gives us our test grades and tells us she will see us after Thanksgiving break. So then we all hustled out of the class before she could realize her mistake and make us all come back. I am sure we will get an earful next time we go back to her class but that's okay... we won't understand it anyway. :)

Well, I should probably add that I made an 81 on my A&P Lab Muscles test. Any other time I would not be to proud of this grade but this is the only exception. The muscles test was the hardest test we have had and I though for sure that I had failed miserably. So, needless to say I will take an 81 over failing any day! :)

Another funny story, I got to school today just like normal and I went to class and took a test. Since it was test day I got out of class super early and had tons of time to kill so I went to my car to crank the heater on and switch out my books for my next class. When I got in my car I thought to myself "dang my eyes look sleepy" So i kept looking to figure out why I looked so weird. The problem is I didn't put mascara on the top lashes of my right eye. Every other lash has it on. Great. Here goes an entire day looking like a fool. :)
